Each day the resort honors the St. Regis ritual of champagne sabering at 5:15 pm to celebrate the transition from day to night as John Jacob Astor IV started when he founded the first St. Regis Hotel in New York in 1904. This ritual is extended to resort guests and includes a complimentary glass of champagne. If weather does not permit the ritual to take place in the Fountain Courtyard, it will occur in the Front Drive.
The St. Regis is a pet-friendly resort and welcomes 2 dogs of any size per unit. The St. Regis charges a dog fee of $100 for the first night plus $25 each additional night, payable at departure (per-room not per-dog). Dog sitting is offered for $50 per hour the first 3 hours and $100 per hour past the 3rd hour (subject to availability). Dog Walking is available for $20 per 15 minute walk (subject to availability).
